Needing a Miracle

This past sitting gig was sort of a difficult one.  i’m not saying i had to dig ditches or lift bricks the entire time, it was just sort of mentally challenging.  However, in light of the events in Texas this past week, it’s very hard to think about anything so self-centered.  Very little is quite so challenging as losing everything you own but nothing in this world can prepare us for what some of them have had to endure.  Losing a loved one and for some of them more than one, is insufferable.

Master and i have friends down there.  Their trailer was only partially under water and the last we heard they were safe.  Master worked with this guy and he’s actually one of His closest confidants when it comes to the lifestyle.  So when i begin thinking about my life and what i think might be a problem, i have to open my eyes and look beyond my little world and think about what’s going on outside.  i have nothing that can’t be solved with a little compassion, love and understanding.  The people in Texas need a miracle.

We are getting ready for a party this weekend.  We have lots to do to get ready, the house looks pretty good, but we have a lot to do in the yard to look acceptable.  We spent most of yesterday taking in scrap and we got a nice amount of money for Master’s efforts.

We are going to get up early tomorrow to get as much done as we can so we don’t have to work late into the night.  That way we’re able to actually be well rested for Sunday.

That’s all for me, supper should be ready soon! i hope you’re all having a wonderful Friday night.

Peace to you and yours,

MD’s treasure
